The group had grown quickly from multi-brand stores into hypermarkets across three countries. Pricing and promotions sat outside the ERP, store sales were reconciled by hand, and each format sold in its own way: store, concession tenant, employee, door delivery and wholesale sales, plus transfers between stores.
- One SAP organisation structure for more than 20 companies, with retail and intercompany channels
- Central pricing and promotions in SAP (mix-and-match, multi-buy, slab discounts) sent to the POS, with a gross margin check before launch
- POS sales and tenders brought in through aggregated IDocs and checked in a reconciliation screen before posting
- Standard SAP flows for tenant, employee, door-delivery and wholesale sales and store transfers
One master record shared by every department, so data was entered once and report reconciliation dropped sharply. Store sales posted daily only after sales and tender totals matched, and promotions were planned centrally with their margin impact visible.
